Digital creator Cylla Senii is partnering with Mona Scott-Young, to develop her digital series Situationships for television. Scott-Young will executive produce under her Monami Productions label. Senii will also serve as executive producer for the project.
The digital series was created in 2016 and picked up for a second season by BET Networks. Created and starring Cylla Senii, “follows vlogger Melody as she crosses paths with some of the messiest players in New York City’s cutthroat dating scene.”
Per its official description, “Situationships is a How-To-Manual for Millenials on the do’s and dont’s of today’s dating scene. Following the day-to-day lives of several hip swingers whose paths are bound to cross, the series focuses on balancing the Gray Area of your love life with the hijinks of your normal life. Whether you’re The Girl Whose Got It All, the Man with a Starting Five, or even just a Free Agent, anyone can find themselves in a situationship.”

Alongside Senii, the original series starred Sean Dominic as Damian, Amylee Sanchez as Jasmyn, Jonathan Iglesias as Tarryn, Allison Frasca as Alyssa, Nicolette Ellis as Robyn, Brandon J. Shawas Ty, Kenishia Green as Gabrielle, Kar Logan as Theo, Marie Dinolan as Leila, Jacob Nichols as Ryan, Christina D. Eskridge as Kali and Jarred Solomon as Travis.
