In 2017, the death of 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins left many questions. On September 10, Jenkins’ body was found in a freezer at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center.
Jenkins’ body was found after her family and friends were in the midst of a search for the teenager when she went missing from a friend’s birthday party.
The Rosemont Police Department later released a controversial surveillance video that depicted Jenkins walking alone in the hallways and kitchen area of the hotel where her body was found.
Now, the teenager’s mysterious death will become the subject of an episode of True Life Crime, a spinoff of the MTV documentary series True Life.
Hosted by journalist Dometi Pongo, True Life Crime will consist of eight episodes that will cover a series of high profile murder tales.
The series will premiere on January 8 at 9/8c on MTV and VH1.
