Two veteran actors are headed to Chicago! Mykelti Williamson and Wendell Pierce are joining the cast of Chicago P.D. for Season 5.

Williamson already appeared on the show as a guest star last season as Lieutenant Denny Woods, former partner of Voight (Jason Beghe).

Pierce will play Alderman Ray Price, reports THR. He is described as  “a shrewd, intelligent and determined Teflon politician who seemingly plays neutral and picks sides all at once.”

Williamson has had recurring roles recently on Underground and Designated Survior, the films Fences and Vengeance, and the indie drama he is in, Canal Street, is in post-production. Pierce will also appear in Amazon’s Jack Ryan series.
