Over the course of nearly two decades, The Fast and the Furious franchise has left an indelible mark on the international box office and popular culture. Now, the first teaser for a new animated spinoff has premiered online.

Titled Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, the Netflix animated series will revolve around Tony Toretto, the cousin of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel). Diesel will also serve as an executive producer for the animated series alongside screenwriter Chris Morgan.

As far as the plotline goes, Spy Racers will see Tony’s world upended when he and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league that operates as a front for a crime organization.

While the teaser does not give anything away, it does feature some of the intense speed racing that The Fast and the Furious franchise is known for. With over $5 billion at the worldwide box office, The Fast and the Furious franchise is the ninth-highest-grossing film series of all time. A spinoff film, titled Hobbs and Shaw, will be released on Aug 2. No release date for Spy Racers has been announced as of yet.
