Nick Cannon’s 7-year-old son Golden is following in his father’s footsteps. Golden, whom Cannon shares with model Britney Bell, recently visited the set of Cannon for a television holiday film. The Wild N’ Out star and other Hollywood heavy-hitters will star in Miracles Across 125th Street.
“Onset and Golden is ready for his close-up. They grow up way too fast,” he captioned the photo.
As reporter by BCK Online, Cannon partnered with gospel greats Kierra Sheard-Kelly and Karen Clark Sheard for the film. Details about Miracles Across 125th Street haven’t been released. But in true Cannon fashion, he’s an executive producer on the film and made note that he is searching for actors to play teens in a choir they plan to develop onset. Many assume the film is based on the book Miracle On 125th Street by Empress Erika.
The book tells the story of Zahara Franklin, a single mother who struggles to make ends meets after the death of her parents and daughter’s father. Zahara lacks the Christmas spirit due to her circumstances. A series of unfortunate events leave her and her daughter homeless and helpless. Ellington Thurgood III arrives to help the two and teach Zahara about the spirit and magic of Christmas.
It’s unclear if Golden has a role in the film, but he has star quality. Cannon also has a daughter with Bell, Powerful Queen Cannon.
