As STX preps for the release of its upcoming drama, Hustlers, the studio has teamed up with another actor for an upcoming project.
It was recently announced that STX has teamed up with Kevin Hart for Night Wolf, a superhero comedy based on a pitch from the duo Dan Hernandez and Benji Sami. Hernandez and Sami previously wrote the box office hit Detective Pikachu.
As far as the plotline goes, Night Wolf will star Kevin Hart as a man who inadvertently learns that his father-in-law moonlights as a superhero known by many as the Night Wolf. Hart will ask serve as a producer for the project.
“After we acquired Night Wolf, we submitted it to Kevin Hart and the team at HartBeat, hoping they would love it as much as we did,” STXfilms chairman Adam Fogelson said of the pitch and Hart’s casting.”It is a big, broad comedy, and the idea is great fun and perfectly matched with Kevin’s comedic talent.”
Hart is currently filming his latest film, Fatherhood, opposite DeWanda Wise, Alfre Woodard and Lil Rel Howery.
