The ever-busy Deon Taylor is putting together his next film, Fatale, which will star Hillary Swank.
Michael Ealy has joined as the male lead, and Geoffrey Owens, Mike Colter, Tyrin Turner and Damaris Lewis (BlacKkKlansman) will co-star.
The film just began production in Los Angeles.
The story centers on a married man (Ealy) who is tricked into a murder scheme by a seductive female police detective (Swank). Lewis plays Michael Ealy’s character’s wife, Traci, while Owens plays his attorney. Colter will be his business partner.
Taylor is directing Fatale and also producing the film with his Hidden Empire Film Group partners, Roxanne Avent and Robert F. Smith.
Taylor’s Traffik came out earlier this year, and The Intruder, starring Ealy, Meagan Good and Dennis Quaid is in post-production. Taylor also produced All-Star Weekend, directed by Jamie Foxx and starring Foxx with Robert Downey Jr., Eva Longoria, Gerard Butler, Jessica Szhor and more. That film is due in 2019.
