The "Island Boys"—aka TikTokers Alex "Flyysoulja" Venegas and Franky "Kodiyakredd" Venegas—recently made headlines after police raided their South Florida rental home.

On Monday, the incident went down after a SWAT team executed a search warrant on the premises, and an associate of the pair—Andrew James Thomas—was ultimately arrested.

Responding officers found a firearm belonging to Thomas hidden in the home's laundry room closet, and he was ultimately booked for gun possession and violating his probation. Thomas was also charged with first-degree murder after the firearm was linked to a recent drive-by shooting that resulted in the death of an 8-year-old girl near Palm Beach.

Flyysoulja was home during the raid, though the Island Boys' manager claims that they had no idea that Thomas—who grew up with the brothers—was a suspect in an ongoing murder investigation.

The Island Boys' manager stated the brothers "just knew [Thomas] as a quiet kid and he would come and hang out and do his thing and go back to whatever he got going on, but we had no clue about any of these allegations; Toward him."

Potentially corroborating the manager's story, Sgt. Ernesto Bruna of the Coral Springs Police Department commented that it's unclear whether Thomas was merely visiting the Island Boys or if he was essentially hiding out at their home.

Neither of the Island Boys has commented on the matter on TikTok or Instagram.

This matter comes about a month after Kodiyakredd's ex-girlfriend—Montaisha Shanell—accused the TikTok star of physical abuse, as Blavity previously reported. She specifically made her accusation in a now-deleted Instagram post that a troubling IG Live followed.

"Y'ALL WANNA BE AN 'ISLAND GIRL SO BADDDDD' GO AHED AN BE ONE [sic]," Shanell wrote. "Lemme show you WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE AN ISLAND GIRL BEAT ON EVERY DAY TREATED LIKE NOTHING. DON'T BELIEVE THE FAIRY-TALE THEY SELL YOU."
