Pose star Indya Moore is set to star in a modern retelling of Frankenstein called Magic Hour. Moore confirmed the news on Twitter.
According to IMDB, Magic Hour is a television series that will be a “psychedelic-macabre portrait of a mysterious young woman who wakes up one morning without a soul, and roams the streets of Tokyo in search of one.” Magic Hour also stars Niclas Ericsson and Yuka Taga and Moore also serves as an executive producer. The series is, in part, a celebration of the 200th year anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelly’s popular science fiction book, Frankenstein. The writer and director of the project is Che Grayson.
Moore is one of the groundbreaking five trans actors starring on Ryan Murphy’s Pose, which is set in 1980s New York at the height of the city’s ballroom scene. Moore plays Angel, a member of the House of Evangelista who is also caught in a relationship with married man Stan (Evan Peters). Pose airs Sundays at 9/8c on FX.
