Sunday’s episode of Power featured a significant death and pretty much the biggest one of the series so far.
SPOILER ALERT!
In the episode “A Friend of the Family,” Tasha (Naturi Naughton) comes up with a plan to set up Kanan (50 Cent) for murder with assists from Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.).
Most people on Twitter said the character got what he deserved.
Karma finally caught up with Kanan. Tariq was actually useful to his family. Tasha calling the shots without Ghost validation shows the growth in her character. Great episode.

I’m glad the kanan character is dead. There nothing more you can do with that character except go in circles. He’s not gonna work or stay loyal to tommy and ghost after they fucked him over. Props to the writers for knocking him off at the right time #powertv

But some are still confused as to why he’s dead before another particular character.

And for some, they aren’t convinced just yet.
So u mean to tell me Kanan survived a burning building but get shot in the stomach and die……. Kanan is not dead #Power
