We all know that Power Season 5 was wild! On May 14, the Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton-led series, produced by 50 Cent, will arrive on Blu-Ray and DVD.
In Season 5, Ghost (Hardwick) finds himself hellbent on avenging his daughter’s death. Lela Loren, Joseph Sikora, Rotimi, Larenz Tate and 50 Cent also star.
The logline for Season 5: Power follows James “Ghost” St. Patrick’s dangerous alliance with former drug partner and brother-in-arms Tommy Egan and mortal enemy Kanan Stark. As Ghost mourns his daughter’s death, he searches for vengeance and throws himself into his work, reaching new professional heights. But his quest for blood threatens to dismantle his legitimate legacy. He’s blind to new enemies, and as the feds grow closer to unmasking his true identity, Ghost must remain vigilant toward those wanting to take him down for his past criminal enterprises.
Courtney A. Kemp is the showrunner of the series, which has been a rating smash for Starz, ranking as the No. 2 scripted series in key demos for all of premium cable, just behind Westworld. Season 6 of the show premieres later this year.
