Power is staying put at Starz and so is its creator, Courtney Kemp.

Kemp just signed a new deal where she will develop more series for the network, including those that will be spinoffs of the hit drama Power. 

In a statement, the network said: “Under the new long-term deal, Kemp will develop and produce a variety of new content across multiple platforms through her End of Episode banner, which encompasses several commitments from STARZ to develop series drawing upon Kemp’s unique sensibility, including potential projects inspired by the world of Power.”

“I’m incredibly proud of the success we’ve had with Power, and I’m excited about expanding our banner and diversifying the types of stories we’re telling. Chris brings with her a depth of experience that will elevate End of Episode to a new level, and I’m looking forward to exploring new ways of writing about my obsession: the intersections of violence, power, sex and romance,” said Kemp.

Power returns for a sixth season next year. The series has been the second-most watched drama on premium cable for three years straight.

Omari Hardwick leads the cast as drug kingpin and nightclub impresario James “Ghost” St. Patrick; Joseph Sikora as his brother in arms in the drug business, Tommy Egan; Naturi Naughton plays Ghost’ fierce and loyal wife, Tasha St. Patrick; Lela Loren as his first love, Assistant U.S. Attorney Angela Valdes; Larenz Tate as Councilman Rashad Tate and Brandon Victor Dixon as the St. Patricks’ attorney, Terry Silver.
