As his battery case plunged, rapper Slim Jxmmi, born Aaquil Iben Shamon Brown, now has one less trouble to worry about.

According to TMZ, legal documents say Slim Jxmmi's misdemeanor charge was dropped after the alleged victim recanted her allegations.

Florida prosecutors note Slim's girlfriend retracted her statement, saying he never put a hand on her. As a result, they do not have a good faith basis for filing battery charges against the rapper. They also reported that his girlfriend recanted her battery claim, stating it was false.

At Tuesday's hearing, prosecutors said they could not file the charges because they lacked sufficient evidence, according to Jxmmi's attorney Bradley.

"Jxmmi should have never been arrested," Horenstein shared with Billboard. "Prosecutors refused to even file charges. That should speak volumes about Jxmmi's innocence."

Slim Jxmmi was arrested last month in Miami-Dade County after his girlfriend called the cops accusing him of allegedly ripping hair extensions from her scalp.

Miami police arrest report states the woman told officers she confronted Slim on Jan. 24 about a woman he was following on social media. After telling his girlfriend he was going to the gym, the rapper left the apartment, but later her friends called to tell her that they saw him drinking at a bar.

When the rapper and another man returned home, the woman reported that they smelled like alcohol. She said she was trying to move her baby from the living room to a bedroom when he allegedly grabbed her hair and pulled out her extension.

According to the woman, she began recording videos on her phone to prove Slim's mistreatment. The rapper threw the phone off the balcony after taking it by force. Police found the phone outside and returned it to the woman.

Slim was being held on a $1,500 bond.
