Russell Hornsby has booked the male lead in an untitled legal drama from Danny Strong at Fox.

The series, now untitled but previously titled Infamy, revolves around a legal team led by a fierce and fearless female lawyer with a hunger for justice. They reopen investigations, putting their own lives in danger to exonerate the innocent that were “proven” guilty.

Hornsby will play Ezekiel “Easy” Boudreau who is described as a “savvy, pragmatic and cool attorney who works at the wrongful conviction firm.”

He also stars in the first season of the Netflix anthology crime series Seven Seconds which releases Friday, and will star in the film The Hate U Give with Amandla Stenberg and Regina Hall.
