Season 3 of the HBO anthology crime drama True Detective has gotten a release date!

The true crime drama, which stars Mahershala Ali this season, will premiere on HBO at 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 13.

Ali, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Moonlight, will portray Wayne Hays, an Arkansas police detective who finds himself in the throes of a murder mystery in the Ozarks. The series will also star Carmen Ejogo, Stephen Dorff, Ray Fisher and Deborah Ayorinde. Hold the Dark director Jeremy Saulnier has directed the first two episodes.
