Gold medalist Simone Biles, 25, recently revealed a new milestone in her relationship with her NFL player fiancé, Jonathan Owens. The couple decided to make their new home in Houston four years after Biles purchased a $2 million estate.

The couple revealed their new plot of land via Instagram on Sunday while posting a slideshow of three photos featuring Biles and her soon-to-be hubby, 27, on their property.

“A home is made with love and dreams. Cheers to breaking ground,” she captioned her photos.

“So excited,” Owens remarked in her comments.

According to the Daily Mail, the young engaged couple first revealed their new game plan to live in Houston in January through shared snaps on her Instagram Stories.

“I know this looks like nothing, but I’m so proud,” she wrote at the time. “Here’s my lot — my soon-to-be home.”

If you’re wondering why the two prefer Houston, Biles and Owens are natives of the big city. Owens signed with the NFL Houston Texans in 2019. Biles was born in Ohio and grew up in Texas after being adopted by her maternal grandparents.

Biles has a home in Spring, Texas, that she purchased and renovated. She owns home properties in Houston and built a gym in Spring, Texas, in 2014, called World Champions Centre that’s reportedly worth over $12 million.

Houston will soon be called home and place of business for the couple who announced their engagement in February 2022. Biles recently celebrated her bachelorette party with her close loved ones in Belize.

“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles captioned the slideshow. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ 💍🥺🥲🤎 @jowens_3.”
