Skai Jackson is joining the cast of Hulu’s upcoming high school comedy film, Sex Appeal.
Jackson joins Mika Abdalla, Jake Short, Margaret Cho, Paris Jackson, Rebecca Henderson and Fortune Feimster in the upcoming movie. The film will be written by Superstore scribe Tate Hanyok and directed by Talia Osteen. Hanyok will also serve as executive producer.
The film follows an overachiever named Avery, whose long-distance boyfriend decides he wants to make their relationship more sexual at the upcoming STEM conference. “As she sets out to master her sexuality and study the mechanics of love, she realizes that relationships require less science and more heart,” according to the film’s description.
The film willl be produced by American High, including Jeremy Garelick, Ryan Bennett, and Will Phelps. Lit Entertainment’s Kendrick Tan and Nickel City’s Tobias Weymar and Mark Fasano will also produce.
