The nominations for the 74th annual Tony Awards were announced today and Jeremy O. Harris’ Slave Play dominates 11 nominations, the second most nominations for a play this year.
Tina: The Tina Turner Musical also garnered several nominations, including Best Musical and Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for Adrienne Warren. Other acting nominees include David Alan Grier, Audra McDonald, Blair Underwood and more
No air date has been announced for the 2020 Tony Awards as of yet. It will likely be a virtual-hybrid event
