How much would you pay to meet Bow Wow? The rapper, whose legal name is Shad Moss, shared on his website that he’s offering meet-and-greet sessions, one of which will cost $1,000 and is causing quite the uproar on social media.

The “Diamond Package” includes a 30-45 minute chill session with the “Like You” rapper, a photo, an invite to Moss’ VIP lounge party and some swag.

The new meet-and-greet package comes after Moss announced The Millennium Tour: Turned Up, Complex reports. The second stint will feature more iconic Y2K acts than its predecessor, including Mario, Keri Hilson, the Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Bobby V, Day 26 and others.

While fans were hyped about The Millennium Tour 2.0, they weren’t as thrilled about Moss’ Diamond Package.

The 35-year-old has been under fire since he released the meet-and-greet session, with many criticizing its price tag. Many think Bow Wow’s stardom isn’t worth the price that he’s charging.

“N***a you not chris brown knock off $950,” one Twitter user said.

“Lol… guess this n***a forgot his core fans are currently inbetween 30-35yrs old, and practically all of them women have kids & bills now! That wave beeeeeeeen gone,” another added.

Others made a few jokes about how many folks would buy the pricey meet-and-greet package.

“Bow Wow and his team leaving the meet and greet after nobody shows up,” one user tweeted.

“Bow wow walkin into the meet and greet,” another added.

This isn’t the first time this week that Twitter is poking fun at the rapper. A  tweet asking fans to choose between $2,900 in food stamps or dinner with Moss went viral on Sept. 5, and most viewers went with the stamps over dining with the rapper.

“Never in my life has the phrase “golly I wanna meet bow wow” ever been uttered outta my mouth,” one Twitter user wrote.

“I feel like even Bow Wow would take the stamps,” another user tweeted.

But Twitter wasn’t full of haters. Some were kinder to the dad of one.

“I’m not saying Bow wow should charge $1,000 but I hate when people try to discredit bow wow and his career. Bow wow opened the doors for people like Chris Brown and to even be able to tour after 20+ years in the industry is commendable,” another user tweeted.

“I disagree with this, celebrity is objective. if Deaconess Bowlorain Wowardon has even one fan that thinks this is a good deal, good. I think more artists should value their time and art instead of give it away without telling fans how to compensate them. Let Bow Wow live lol,” another added.

According to Newsweek, Moss spoke out against the backlash in since-deleted tweets.

“My meet n greets start at 150$ yall only reporting the diamond package. Stop acting like to meet me its a stack. … there are 3 packages you can choose from,” he wrote. “READ BEFORE YALL START POSTING S**T ON THESE BLOGS.”

In a follow-up tweet, which has also been deleted, Moss expounded on how he can’t catch a break on the internet.

“You see when im chilling minding my business staying off the net THEY STILL HAVE TO TALK ABOUT ME,” he wrote. “One week its ‘Bow wow sells out o2 arena hes a goat’ to who wants to meet him for 1k? Ya baby momma n***a thats who. Read before u post bout me. Stop playing with the dog.”

The Millennium Tour: Turned Up kicks off in Hampton, Virginia, on Oct. 7, Newsweek reports.

The lineup of artists will make an appearance in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York and Miami, before concluding in Oakland, California, on Nov. 27.
