Rosario Dawson gets her time with her own Star Wars series with Star Wars: Ahsoka. The trailer for the new series debuted Tuesday along with featurette Journey to Ahsoka.

The trailer shows Dawson’s Ahsoka, the jedi who trained under Anakin Skywalker before he became Darth Vader, as she takes on Imperial villains including General Thrawn and investigates what has been described as “an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.” The featurette also shows more of Dawson becoming Ahsoka and what fans can expect from the series straight from the creators and stars’ mouths.

Along with Dawson, Star Wars: Ahsoka stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, David Tennant, Lars Mikkelsen and Eman Esfandi. The series is directed by Dave Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa. Feloni also serves as head writer and executive producer. Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Carrie Beck also executive produce. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.
