Sterling K. Brown, Charlie Day, Jenny Slate and Jeff Goldblum have joined Jodie Foster in Drew Pearce’s much-anticipated directorial debut “Hotel Artemis,” which Dave Bautista and Sofia Boutella are also set to appear in.
Penned by Pearce and set in the near future, “Hotel Artemis” follows a nurse (Foster) who runs an underground hospital for Los Angeles’ most sinister criminals, and finds that one of her patients is actually there to assassinate another.
Marc Platt (“La La Land”) is producing alongside Adam Siegel and The Ink Factory’s Stephen Cornwell and Simon Cornwell.
WME Global is handling U.S. rights to “Hotel Artemis.” Lionsgate launched international sales on The Ink Factory financed and produced action thriller in Berlin in February.
The Ink Factory is a multi-platform production company dedicated to high-end story telling through film, television and on digital. The company is behind the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning drama series “The Night Manager,” and “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk,” directed by Ang Lee.
The busy Sterling K. Brown won an Emmy for his performance in “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and stars in NBC’s Golden Globe nominated dramedy hit, “This Is Us.” He recently wrapped production on Marvel Studios’ much-anticipated “Black Panther,” can next be seen in “Marshall” which Open Road will be releasing this Fall, and is currently in production on Twentieth Century Fox’s “The Predator.”
