The Casting Society of America (CSA) has announced its feature film award winners for the 31st Annual Artios Awards. Final film ballots were distributed to CSA members and voting ended on Friday, January 8, 2016, and all winners for film, television, theater, short film and new media categories were announced at the 31st Annual Artios Awards last night, January 21, 2016, in award ceremonies held simultaneously at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and at the Hard Rock Café in New York.
The eligibility period for film projects included films released theatrically from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015.
The feature film award winners announced last night follow below. Or note, with respect to this blog’s interests, "Straight Outta Compton" won in the Big Budget Drama category; "Dope" won in the Low Budget Comedy category; and "Empire" won in the Television Pilot Drama category.
