Sunny Hostin’s daughter Paloma made a special appearance on The View during Friday’s episode.
A day after celebrating her 17th birthday, Paloma surprised viewers by joining her mother on set.
“That beautiful girl you’re seeing is Paloma Hostin, Sunny’s daughter!” Joy Behar said, introducing her.
Paloma stood by Sunny, wore a bright red outfit, silver hoop earrings, and styled her hair in an Afro. The mother-daughter duo posed together as the show closed out.
“OMG! Paloma! Flawless beauty (as usual-your hair is everything),” a fan on Instagram commented.
“Saw you on The View today 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 — you and Sunny Hostin: double dose of cuteness overload,” they added.
The 17-year-old is a painter and a fashion designer. She posts her creations on social media and has created dresses inspired by her paintings.
Paloma also does track and field. Last year, she competed in the Junior Olympics in Greensboro, North Carolina.
“Everyone was asking where I was yesterday; I was actually watching my daughter run the 800 meters in track and field in the Junior Olympics yesterday,” Hostin said, People reported. “I didn’t want to mention it because most people know Paloma does not like being the center of attention, which is why I don’t talk much about her on the show.”

Sunny added that her daughter broke her record, and her son showed up to support his sister.
“She was terrified — it was really really crowded… My son showed up that morning because she said she needed him. He flew in to just support her,” she added.
