Shadow and Act has an exclusive clip of this week’s Halloween episode of the comedy series That Girl Lay Lay.

In the episode, Tiffany dares Lay Lay and Sadie to stay overnight at the school in order try and prove the ghost of Old Man Packer doesn’t exist… or does he?

The series follows “Lay Lay (Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High), an avatar from a phone app, and Sadie (Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, a girl who is struggling to make her mark in school and in need of a best friend to talk to. After Sadie wishes upon a star that her hype-girl avatar Lay Lay was real, she magically comes to life, and the two friends learn that when they are together, they can accomplish anything.”

In a recent interview with Shadow and Act, High told us that she hopes audiences learn from the show that “they take they can do anything in this world” and “it’s not something you see, me and Gabby being Black leads at 14. [It’s] amazing.”

That Girl Lay Lay “Ha-Lay Lay-Ween” airs Thursday, Oct. 21, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, right after an all-new Halloween episode of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan at 7 p.m. (ET/PT).
