Actress Cassandra Creech has officially joined the cast of the long-running CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in the role of Grace Buckingham, the mother of Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). Creech is set to make her The Bold and the Beautiful debut on January 10. Soap Opera Digest broke the news of Creeh’s casting.
Not much is known about Grace’s background outside of her connection to Paris and Zoe, but like all soap operas, audiences can expect Creech’s appearance to bring some much added drama to The Bold and the Beautiful. As audiences know, Paris and Zoe’s father is Reese Buckingham, the character that was played by Wayne Brady.
Creech is perhaps best known to audiences for her role as former Oakdale resident Denise Maynard on As The World Turns for several years in the late 1990s and early 2000s as well as her role as Diane on the long-running NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives during a stint in 2018.
“I think it was an aligning of the stars because everything just fell into place,” Creech said to Soap Opera Digest regarding her audition. “I was called in through normal casting, and I had a good chemistry read with Diamond [White, Paris] and the rest is history. Here I am, and I’ve got to say, it is extraordinary being here.”
No word yet on when Creech will begin appearing.
