The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘s current DJ, dancer /entertainer Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, has now given his own statement about the working situation at the popular daytime television show.
Boss, who took over the DJ position in 2013 after DJ Tony Okungbowa left, told US Weekly how his experience on the show was largely full of “love.” His statement presents a slightly different viewpoint than the ones of countless employees who have told Buzzfeed News about multiple instances of misconduct from executive producers.
“We can’t speak too much legally about it, but I’ll say this, there’s been love,” he said, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. “Obvoiusly there’s some things to address, but from my standpoint and from countless others, there’s been love. I’ll just leave it at that until there’s a time where we can address more publicly. There’s been love and there will continue to be love.”
While his statement acknowledges issues behind the scenes, he sounds happier with his experience on the show than Okungbowa, who wrote on Instagram about the ‘toxicity’ he experienced while employed.
