Directed by David Robert Mitchell and produced by J.J. Abrams, The End of Oak Street follows a family that is, thanks to a cosmic event, are somehow transported from their idyllic neighborhood to a dangerous world.
Now, to survive the world they’re in, they must work together and learn more about what happened to them. Maisy Stella and Christian Convery also star.
The trailer gives early Spielberg vibes
The trailer will probably satisfy fans of Steven Spielberg films of the ’70s,’80s and ’90s. The film hits on those nostalgic feelings from films like E.T., Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and Jurassic Park. And, like those films, the trailer banks on the mystery and fear to intrigue audiences.
Abrams produces with Mitchell, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper. Executive producers include Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee and Leeann Stonebreaker.
