CBS’ The Good Fight, starring Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, Justin Bartha, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi and Delroy Lindo, will get a third season on CBS’ streaming platform CBS All Access.
“The Good Fight is a perfect example of what we strive for a CBS All Access original series to be: thought-provoking, boundary-pushing and, most of all, incredibly entertaining,” said CBS All Access’ executive vice president of original content Julie McNamara. “We can’t wait to see what [series co-creators] Robert and Michelle King, their creative team and the incomparable cast will bring to audiences in season three.”
As fans know, the second season of The Good Fight has been a roller coaster ride of emotion and drama. This season has placed Diane (Baranski), Lucca (Jumbo), Maia (Leslie) and the rest of the Reddick, Boseman and Lockhart law firm in psychological terror after a client at another firm kills his lawyer for overcharging, spawning a copycat murder. McDonald also joined the show as Diane’s new law partner, Liz Reddick-Lawrence.
The Good Fight, also co-created by Phil Alden Robinson, is executive produced by Robert and Michelle King, Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Liz Glotzer and Brooke Kennedy. The show is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Scott Free Productions and King Size Productions. The first season and the first nine episodes of season two of The Good Fight are available for streaming via CBS All Access, and new episodes of season 2 are available on demand every Sunday for CBS All Access subscribers. The season 2 finale will be available for streaming May 27.
