Kinglsey Ben-Adir and Fehinti Balogun are among the male cast in Apple TV’s The Husbands.
Juno Temple stars in the A24-produced series as Lauren, a woman who comes home to her London apartment and finds her husband Michael. Except she doesn’t remember getting married to anyone and has never seen Michael before. When Michael goes to the attic to change a lightbulb and disappears, a new husband appears. Each time the husband goes to an attic, a new husband shows up.
As Deadline reports, Ben-Adir and Balogun play two of the husbands; the rest of the cast of husbands includes Joe Alwyn, Richard Gadd, Daniel Ings and Bob Morley. Other characters in the series will be played by Tom Basden, Shazad Latif, Gemma Whelan and Rebekah Murrell.
What is ‘The Husbands’ based on?
The series is based on Holly Gramazio’s debut novel and executive produced by lead director Adam Randall and lead writer Miriam Battye. Josephine Bornebusch and Kate Hewitt also direct and executive produce. Temple executive produces with Gramazio, Craig Gillespie, Annie Marter and A24.
Ben Adir will also be seen soon in the upcoming drama The Arrival opposite Archie Madekwe. The two play estranged brothers who meet for the first time in adulthood and come to terms with their different experiences of family.
