Filming for season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has resumed and new guidelines are in place to protect the cast and crew during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Production halted a few weeks ago following a crew member contracting the virus. A source tells Page Six that filming resumed not too long after the Thanksgiving holiday.

The source also reveals that the cast will now be “spending more time together outdoors, avoiding crowds and having daily health checks and getting tested regularly.” All are said to be increasing the number of times they wash their hands a day. New sanitation equipment is also provided on set.

Despite the break in filming, the ladies of Atlanta have not slowed down living their best lives off-camera. Kandi Burruss was recently spotted celebrating with Reginae Carter for her 22nd birthday at a packed bash in Atlanta. Dozens of people at the party were photographed without protective masks on, but Carter and others say they were tested in advance of the party for safety.
