Now here’s a teaser trailer to die for!
A24 and Apple TV+ have released the trailer for The Tragedy of Macbeth, which stars Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand as Lord and Lady Macbeth. The film is written and directed by Joel Coen.
The studio describes the film as a “bold and fierce adaptation—a tale of murder, madness, ambition, and wrathful cunning.”
It also stars Corey Hawkins, Moses Ingram, Brendan Gleeson, Harry Melling, Sean Patrick Thomas, Ralph Ineson, Brian Thompson, Kathryn Hunter, Bertie Carvel and more.
The film, which is in black and white, is already garnering a lot of Oscar buzz for the film itself and high anticipation for the performances of Washington, McDormand and Hawkins.
It will be in theaters on December 25 before it streams on Apple TV+ beginning January 14, 2022. The film will have its world premiere this week at the New York Film Festival.
