Spoilers ahead: Read at your own risk.
So most of us have seen Avengers: Infinity War by now. If you have you know that half of the Avengers (and the world) has disintegrated into dust due to a single snap of Thanos’ finger. If you’re familiar with comic book canon, you know that in this story arc, all of the ones who were poofed into dust will return. However, that doesn’t make the ending of this film any less tragic.
But, we may have missed some hints all along on what the film would be like.
Back in a Good Morning America interview in July, Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner/Hulk (who at the time was only supposed to be talking about Thor: Ragnarok) said, “Wait until you see this next one…. Everybody dies…Well, half.” He then turns to Don Cheadle (War Machine) and they laugh, clearly trying to play it off that he said revealed the information.
