Shadale is one of few contestants that astonished the coaches during the last round of the Blind Auditions on Tuesday’s episode of The Voice. Singing Bruno Mars “That’s What I Like,” she garnered the attention of Kelly Clarkson first.

Ariana Grande and Blake Shelton admitted they would have turned around had their teams not been full before Shadale’s performance noting that she deserved a four-chair turn.
Dueling coaches Legend and Clarkson battled for Shadale, who ultimately chose Team Legend.
As Meaww reported, Twitter fans weighed in on Shadale’s performance. “See this is what Ariana should’ve turned around for!! Come on Shadale!!”, wrote one user, with another one adding, “Mannn Shadale understood the assignment !!!”

“Shadale came right out with the vocal swag,” stated someone else. “She can go from smooth to rough and tumble and belt out those higher notes. Love it! Set that stage on .”

Shadale, whose full name is Shadale Johnson is from Douglassville, Georgia, which is located north of Atlanta, GA. The mother of one grew up honing her skills in the church house and in musical theater.
