Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold are coming together to bring fans a new talk show!
Tisha & Tichina Have Issues (working title) promises a fresh take on celebrity interviews and news. Executive produced by the co-hosts along with Andrew Jameson and ITC America’s Thinkfactory, the show will offer the craziness Campbell and Arnold provide.
Filmed in each of their homes, each episode will host a celebrity or public figure that will be joined by a close friend in hopes to offer a fresh take on things discussed in the interview. Tisha & Tichina Have Issues will engage in candid conversations as the duo explore tales and current events.
The chemistry between Campbell and Arnold is undeniable. Although they started in the 1986 film, Little Shop of Horrors, the duo etched themselves in fans’ heart when they appeared on the hit show Martin as feisty best friends. They have also co-hosted Soul Train Awards together.
In an interview with ET Online, the outlet that exclusively broke this news, Campbell opened up about their friendship and work relationship. “Tichina and I have worked together and known each other so long…we finish each other’s jokes! I’m happy that me and my bestie will have the opportunity to create and enjoy a platform where our audience can get intimate with us — and when our celebrity guests come through, they can bring on a friend so we can all get to know them in a more fun, open and candid way.”
Arnold added that she was “pleased to be working with Thinkfactory” and “long-time friend and colleague Tisha Campbell on our dream project…Never before has television played a greater role in our communities, and I feel certain that connecting through our brand of positivity and laughter is sure to shine through to our forever faithful fans.”
The show, still in development, will be shopped to networks and streamers.
