DC’s Titans has already set a season 2.
The renewal was announced Wednesday at New York Comic-Con. The series’ first season premieres October 12 on DC Comics’ new streaming platform, DC Universe. This news comes after Netflix picked up all international distribution rights to the series.
Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson/Robin emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.
Brenton Thwaites stars as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy and Teagan Croft as Raven. Recurring characters include Alan Ritchson as Hawk and Minka Kelly as Dove.
Diop’s character, Starfire (also known as Koriand’r) “is an alien princess from a warrior planet who seeks asylum on Earth. A no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners stranger on our world, she has the ability to shoot energy bolts and fly. Searching for her place on Earth, she’ll come into contact with the Titans.”
