Former ABC morning hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are now telling their side of the story in an upcoming podcast.
Variety reports that the two former Good Morning America hosts and current couple now have a deal with iHeartMedia to tell their side of the story regarding their relationship and their ultimate firing due to their affair. As you might remember, their relationship started on the set of Good Morning America while the two were still married to other people. As Variety reports, their relationship didn’t violate company policy, but ABC News thought “their relationship had become ‘an internal and external disruption,'” leading to them losing their jobs.
The new podcast, Amy & T.J., will come to the iHeartPodcast Network on Dec. 5. The podcast will not only feature their side of the story regarding their relationship, but will feature them exploring “meaningful conversations about current events, pop culture, and everything in between. Nothing is off limits,” according to iHeartMedia.
“Amy & T.J. is guaranteed to be informative, entertaining, and above all, authentic; it will mark the first time Robach and Holmes speak publicly since their own names became a part of the headlines,” iHeartMedia continued in its announcement. The two will also collaborate on other iHeartPodcasts programming.
Earlier in March of this year, Robach and Holmes were reported as “aggressively pitching” a show to the producers of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. They also said at the time that they “welcome ongoing coverage” of their relationship and wanted to use their newfound trending status to help them land a new job. While they might not have gotten a job with DeGeneres’ producers, they still landed on their feet in the already-crowded and lucrative podcasting space.
They also became “Instagram official” in announcing the podcast on social media.
