The 19-year-old said she tries to stay off social media and instead spends time coloring, journaling, reading, and playing her favorite-playing video games like Fortnite.

“Fortnite, I am a little bit of a gamer, so that has definitely helped me,” she said.

Trinity acknowledged her last name has always played a role in the pressures placed on her, especially before she entered her professional career as an athlete.

“My last name has always been a factor, especially before I kind of made my own way. But there are always expectations. I had questions before I even proved myself. But My mom helped me a lot with kind of tuning that out and being about my family and success,” she said.

Her father, Dennis Rodman, holds five NBA titles, and twice he made the NBA All-Star team. He won the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award twice and spent eight seasons as a member of the NBA All-Defensive Team.

Despite the pressures of critics, Trinity has made a name for herself as a professional soccer player. Rodman signed a three-year contract last year with an average base pay of $42,000 plus housing and bonuses. Trinity has made a name for herself, having a successful season, which led her to be selected as the league’s youngest player in the first round of the NWSL draft in January 2021.
