Apple TV+ has dropped the first trailer for Truth Be Told.
The series is led by Octavia Spencer and also stars Aaron Paul, Lizzy Caplan, Elizabeth Perkins, Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood, Ron Cephas Jones and Tami Roman.
The description: Truth Be Told follows Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) as she is compelled to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation and comes face to face with Warren Cave (Aaron Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. Her investigation navigates urgent concerns about privacy, media and race.
Truth Be Told is created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman. Tramble Spellman and Spencerrserve as executive producers, alongside Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine and Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping for Chernin Entertainment. Kristen Campo, Leonard Dick, Ben Watkins, Victor Hsu and Mikkel Norgaard are also executive producers. Endeavor Content is the studio along with Chernin Entertainment.
