Ahead of its debut this week, a spicy red band trailer and new images have dropped for Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip on Netflix.
The upcoming film is Perry’s first to have the longtime character of Joe serve as the lead. Per the logline, “In an effort to teach him about the real world, Joe takes B.J. on a cross-country college road trip where tensions get high but life-changing lessons are learned.”
Jermaine Harris and Amber Reign Smith, who have worked with Perry before on his Neflix projects, star in the film with him. As seen in the new images, Ms. Pat also has a role in the movie.
On the actors, Perry told Blavity’s Shadow and Act previously, “Jermaine is a brilliant actor. I had so much fun bantering with him. He is such a great talent and brilliant actor. It was a joy to work with him again. I hope to see him rise as far as his faith will let him. And when I saw Amber Reign Smith’s audition for this role, I was impressed. Her vulnerability in any role she plays gives life to every character as only a great actor can.”
When does ‘Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip’ premiere?
