Universal has given release dates to three upcoming Will Packer Productions films, one of which is the Marsai Martin-starrer, Little. 

The film is currently set for release on Friday, September 20, 2019. The Black-ish star will headlines and executive produces the Will Packer comedy,  based on an idea the young actress pitched.  Directed by Tina Gordon (Peeples), the film tells the story of a woman who—when the pressures of adulthood become too much to bear—gets the chance to relive the carefree life of her younger self. Packer will produce for his Universal-based Will Packer Productions with his production partner James Lopez and black-ish/grown-ish creator Kenya Barris Actress Regina Hall and Josh Martin will also executive produce.

Fresh off the Boat writer Camilla Blackett is currently rewriting the latest script draft, which is based on earlier work written by Gordon and Girls Trip writer Tracy Y. Oliver.

Two other untitled Will Packer comedies have been given release dates of Friday, November 15, 2019 and Friday, May 15, 2020.

These two films could be a number of projects, but considering what he has in development right now, we have two ideas.

Just yesterday, Deadline reported Packer was developing the action comedy, Fight Night and Universal recently acquired the pitch for the latest Packer/Kevin Hart collaboration, On the Run.
