Don’t let anyone tell you that original content can’t make bank at the box office!

Jordan Peele’s second film, Us, is on track for a $35 million domestic debut with the potential to scale upward to $40 million, Deadline is reporting.

The tracking numbers are a bump from the opening weekend of Get Out, Peele’s Oscar-winning directorial debut. Get Out opened to a domestic box office of $33.3 million. The film eventually grossed $176 million domestically and $255.4 million worldwide. 

Starring Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Us follows a Black family whose weekend beach getaway turns deadly when they encounter a group of strangers who look exactly like them. Us also stars Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Anna Diop, Yahya-Abdul Mateen II, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Cali Sheldon and Noelle Sheldon.

The film is set to premiere at SXSW on March 8 and arrive in theaters on March 22.
