The coming-of-age drama continues to be in at WarnerMedia. Coming off the success of Euphoria, HBO has set another teen drama, We Are Who We Are, and HBO Max has one in development called Generation. Now, Vegas High, currently set as a pilot at HBO Max, is filling out its main cast.

Kyanna Simone Simpson and Da’Vinchi have been cast in series regular roles in the pilot. They join Jordana Spiro, Josh Andrés Rivera, Reagan Rozas, Emma Meisel, Lexi Simonsen, and Kevin Rahm.

The pilot is from writer Sarah-Raquel Jimenez and is based upon her own experiences. It’s a “1990s-set coming-of-age story about Laura (Rozas), a girl who’s caught between two worlds: the fast-paced lifestyle of Las Vegas and her strong Mormon faith and community.”

Simpson will play Olie, one of “Laura’s non-Mormon friends, with a sharp skepticism about Mormon values.” Da’Vinchi will be Issac, “the hot best friend to Josh (Rivera) and the object of Laura’s silent passion.”

Da’Vinchi had a recurring role on the first season of Freeform’s grown-ish and currently recurs on The CW’s All American. Simpson starred in a recurring role on The CW’s Black Lightning and starred in the first and only season of Netflix’s Chambers.
