Lifetime turns up the heat this January with the all-new series premiere of “Vivica’s Black Magic,” in which host Vivica A. Fox launches her newest business venture called Black Magic – an exotic male revue and ultimate ladies’ night experience featuring her “Magic Men.”

The actress, producer and entrepreneur is “putting her name, her money and her reputation on the line to give women a night they will never forget,” with the help of her friends, Eurika and Kiana. The trio will audition hundreds of men, narrowing it down to a group of eight worthy of a coveted spot in her show. The guys must then go up against each other, giving it all they have to make “Black Magic” happen. Meanwhile, will Vivica be able to pull it off and get Black Magic to her ultimate goal – a spot on the famous Las Vegas Strip?

Tune in to find out when “Vivica’s Black Magic” premieres Wednesday, January 4 at 10pm ET/PT on Lifetime. The network has ordered 8 one-hour episodes of the series.

Vivica A. Fox and J.C. LaMarre are creators and executive producers. By the way, J.C. LaMarre is Jean-Claude La Marre, the director of “Chocolate City” (the African American answer to “Magic Mike”), and its upcoming sequel; Vivica A. Fox stars in both. So I suppose this new Lifetime series is a natural extension of the “Chocolate City” brand.

“Vivica’s Black Magic” is produced by Propagate. Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens, Brett-Patrick Jenkins and Luke Neslage are executive producers for Propagate. Mary Donahue and Mioshi Hill executive produce for Lifetime.

Lifetime has released a trailer for the upcoming series which is embedded below:
