If there’s one thing Chadwick Boseman is not going to do, it’s divulge any secrets about T’Challa in Avengers: Endgame.
While attending CinemaCon to reveal his next film, 21 Bridges (fka 17 Bridges), Access Hollywood interviewed Boseman to ask him about Endgame and what fans can expect. His instantly-iconic answer: “I’m dead.”
Fans immediately snapped up the interview to provide some funny commentary.

Why is Chadwick Boseman the only one at Marvel who’s trying to maintain the illusion that the dead characters from Infinity War are actually dead? https://t.co/FZJwJKvPiX

Of course, this isn’t the first time Boseman’s interviews or appearances have become memes. Just this year, his look after Green Book won Best Picture resonated with viewers who disliked the film because of its untruthful representation of Dr. Don Shirley.
Also, during the Black Panther press tour, fans hilariously noted how Boseman seemed to become less and less impressed with doing “Wakanda Forever” salutes. Boseman might be a stellar actor, but it looks his other talent–being a meme king–hits just as hard.
21 Bridges will be in theaters July 12, 2019.
