The Smithsonian Channel’s series America in Color is currently in its second season and has explored moments in American history through digitally colorized pictures. In their upcoming episode, “Hollywood’s Golden Age,” the series will show Hattie McDaniel’s acceptance speech for her Gone with the Wind Oscar win in color for the first time. We have an exclusive clip from the episode below.

The “Hollywood’s Golden Age” episode of America in Color will air Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. ET.
