Check out a new short clip from “Marvel’s Luke Cage” series which premieres on Netflix on September 30, 2016. Needless to say, many are looking forward to seeing what’s been done with the character in his very own live-action series, and September 30th may seem terribly far away. Although given how fast time just seems to flying by, with the summer winding down already, the end of September is just a few blinks away.

Mike Colter plays Luke Cage, in the series. Mahershala Ali is Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, an adversary for the title character to battle against. Simone Missick is a variation of Misty Knight. Alfre Woodard plays a variation of another Luke Cage nemesis known as Black Mariah. And Theo Rossi is Shades (aka Alvarez), a career criminal and a nemesis to Cage.

Cheo Hodari Coker (“SouthLAnd,” “Ray Donovan”) is serving as writer, showrunner and Executive Producer.
