Wendy Raquel Robinson is the latest to join the ensemble cast of Eva Longoria’s ABC drama pilot, Grand Hotel.

Based on a Spanish format, “the series soapy drama set against the backdrop of a Miami Beach hotel, centering on the family who owns the business, the staff who run it and the explosive secrets they hide under the perfect exterior.

Robinson will play Mrs. P, the “lovable, no-nonsense, staff manager at the hotel.”

She joins Chris Warren (who was cast last week as her son), Demian Bichir, Roselyn Sanchez, Shalim Ortiz and Bryan Craig.

Set at ABC Studios, the series is also from Brian Tanen.

Most known for her roles on The Steve Harvey Show and The Game, this is Robinson’s first series regular role since the short-lived TV One series, Here We Go Again in 2016.
