Whatever she
doing, she’s doing something right, since "The Wendy Williams Show" was the No. 1
rated syndicated daytime talk show with the key demographic of women 25-54 in
its sixth season premiere last week.
Her show increased
its rating by some 36% from last year, meaning that Williams has now become the talk
show to beat, that advertisers are dying
to sponsor, and currently nothing else looks like it can compete.
The show
beat out all contenders for the demo, including "Ellen," which came in second, "Michael
and Kelly," which came in third, with "Dr. Phil," "The Real," "Steve Harvey," "Meredith Viera" and "Dr. Oz" following, in that order.
Dead last
was "The Queen Latifah Show," which, although it has already started its new season, is rumored to be in trouble, and may not make it to January.
