Though we know Pettis from her role as Sophie Martinez on the Disney Channel series Corey in the House, the 22-year-old actress got her start well before the That’s So Raven spinoff. She started gaining recognition as a child model when she was just 5, and she later snagged a role on long-running kids singalong, Barney & Friends. After her role on the classic children’s show, she starred opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the 2007 Disney film, The Game Plan.
Since then, the Texas-born actor has had voice acting roles in The Lion Guard and Phineas and Ferb. She’s also been featured in films like Seven Pounds and FreeStyle, as well as television shows Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Facebook Watch’s Five Points and Freeform’s The Fosters. Up next, Pettis is slated to star in He’s All That, the remake of the 1999 teen flick, She’s All That.
When Deadline announced that He’s All That had been greenlit, Pettis shared the news on Instagram, saying, “Booked & Busy & Blessed. Can’t wait to start working on this!”
Pettis has worked hard to shattered her Disney Channel kid image. She has starred in American Pie: Girls Rule, and she’s an ambassador for Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie line.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the actor is worth $500,000, and with more projects slated to be released in the near future, as well as some of her social media ventures, we’re sure that her net worth will only expand exponentially.
