Reality star Brandi Maxiell rose to prominence as a regular cast member on the long-running VH1 show Basketball Wives: Los Angeles. Starring alongside Malaysia Pargo, Jackie Christie, Tami Roman and Draya Michele, Brandi was a prominent cast member up until the show’s fifth and final season. She has since appeared on the flagship show, Basketball Wives, after the cast of the LA edition folded into the main series.
During her tenure on Basketball Wives: Los Angeles, Brandi got into notable confrontations with Tami Roman, Draya Michele, Jackie Christie, Sundy Carter, Angel Love, Meghan James and Shaunie O’Neal. Maxiell also courageously documented her journey with battling ovarian cancer. She appeared in the medical talk show The Doctors to document her battle with cancer.
Given that Basketball Wives documents the lives of women who have been romantically involved with basketball players, it would make sense that fans and viewers of Maxiell are curious about who she has been romantically linked to.
For those unfamiliar, Brandi has been married to her high school sweetheart, basketball player Jason Maxiell, since 2010. Jason played for the Detroit Pistons from 2005 to 2013.
After his departure from the Detroit Pistons, Jason went on to sign with the Orlando Magic, which he played for from 2013 to 2014. Afterward, Jason signed with the Charlotte Hornets from 2014 to 2015. He also played basketball professionally overseas in China before he eventually retired from the sport in 2017.
